About Me

Hi! I’m Crissie, the face behind the camera, heart and soul behind the computer and owner of Crissie Lee Photography! I’m just a silly, self taught, funny, sometimes awkward girl who loves to capture moments and memories! 

I’ve lived right here in the Upstate of South Carolina since I was born, but I love to travel and see all the beautiful sights this world has to offer! I graduated from Eastside High School in 2016 and have been pursuing my photography career since 2018.

​When I'm not behind the camera, you can probably find me searching for the best sushi in town! I’m always shopping at Target, Ross or TJMaxx, spending way too much money on Amazon! I’m a coffee lover! So if I’m 5 minutes late to our session, that's probably because I had to stop for more coffee! (I’ll share I promise!) When I’m not snuggled up on the couch editing, I’ll probably be catching up on our favorite Netflix shows, hanging out at my local coffee shops or attempting some new recipes to cook for dinner, failing and then ordering take-out! 

My Story

If we are being completely honest, I never knew that photography was where my life was headed, but gosh, am I so glad that this is where it ended up! I always knew that I loved taking photos, I loved what they represented and how you could look back and re-live moments over and over again, but I never thought I could make a career of it! I didn't come from a family that had portraits taken regularly, or even at all for that matter! Until I downloaded an app that allowed me to imitate what a real, professional camera could do, I had no concept of what photography really meant! But once I got my hands on a camera, there was no turning back!

In 2018 I landed a job with Lifetouch Preschool Portraits and from then they say, is history. My love for photography blossomed and from there on out, there was no stopping me! The people I met and the mentors I gained helped me and inspired me to create and become who I am and what this business is today! 

My Influences

My family, friends and clients are the absolute most important people in my life. Their support and guidance have made me into the woman I am and I, nor this business, would be successful without them. Since being in the photography community, I have met and made great relationships with so many amazing photographers that have poured their knowledge into me, and taught me in ways that have transformed me and my talent in ways I could have never imagined!

I’m really just a simple girl who always has her camera ready! I love to be silly and have fun! That's the energy I always bring into my sessions, I’m never afraid to act crazy, silly or stupid to get that perfect smile! The excitement I get from sharing precious photos with my clients is forever growing. Making sure that my clients have the best experience possible is one of my top priorities!
